The MS5010 side-mounted liquid level switch has a stainless steel stem and a stainless steel float and is equipped with a slosh shield. A slosh shield should be considered if your operating environment contains intensive agitation of the liquid, boiling fluids, or surging due to large inflows and outflows of liquid. These turbulent conditions may result in erratic float operation. If this is not the case, the M5010 is the equivalent switch without the slosh shield equipped.Stainless steel stems and floats are well suited for corrosive environments as well as food processing, medical, heating, and cooling applications.
Madison Company can also manufacture custom M5002 series bent stem float switch lengths for OEM applications. Please contact Madison Company to discuss your float switch needs today.
Note: SPST = Single Pole, Single Throw
Switches are rated for resistive loads. See our Electrical Considerations for UL guidelines for current (Amperes resistive) at different voltages.
